I’ve been wanting to try Ziip since it first launched on the market. I was quite excited about it because of the innovation, the sleek design, and above all the results it promised. Ziip is an electronic device that connects wirelessly to your phone where you can select the type of treatment you’d like to perform.

From Ziip: Using carefully-constructed programs designed with nanocurrent, as well as microcurrent and direct current, ZIIP communicates with your skin cells to create more collagen and elastin, decrease onset acne, increase circulation, accelerate wound healing, and repair tissue.

I started using Ziip in the beginning of November. I had quite a few spots as well as a lot of acne marks from recent spots that were still healing. I started with the Energize treatment, then I found that I liked to perform the Primer and Clearing treatments every other evening. On my nights off from Ziip I use my BR regimen which includes Lotion P50 and Lotion MC 110 as exfoliants. On the nights I use Ziip I follow with the Krave Beauty Great Barrier Relief and the Oat So Simple gel cream.

Here’s my progress so far. You can see how much more even, calm, and less irritated my skin looks. My scarring has also smoothed out and diminished during this time.

I found that upon contact wth the Ziip, especially during the clearing treatment, I got quite a bit of irritation. The spots I would target would get red and swell up. But the next morning, everything would be way calmer, and most spots would appear smaller and diminished. Some spots would even come to a head.

I’ve also tried the Pigmentation treatment and Instant Gratification treatment and I love both!

I did try to use the Ziip with a similar conductive gel, but I found that the Gold Gel is more effective and gives my skin a smoother feeling when I rinse it off at the end of the treatment.

I’ve had this for over a month and I haven’t needed to charge it yet, which I find is remarkable. I also think that the educational videos that come with the app are very good and simple in the way they demonstrate the movements. They’ve definitely taken all the guesswork out!

Overall I have seen a tremendous change in the tone and elasticity of my skin. Everything feels more supple, toned, even, and calm. I just love how clear my skin looks and with more clarity! I’m excited to keep using this more, and keep it as an integral part of my routine.

If you’re going to invest in this device, you should prepare yourself to use it at least 4 times a week. I highly advise against purchasing this device, or any similar device, if you can’t commit to the continued use of it. However, the results are so immediate and so gratifying that you will be addicted to using it almost daily! I think this is amazing for anyone over the age of 25 that is concerned with preventing fine lines as well as acne and cystic acne.

The Ziip was gifted to me by the brand for testing purposes, but all opinions are my own!
