Cataloguing my most-used items is a ritual that gives me clarity and a way to identify what’s working and what isn’t. Things that are designed to function well and look beautiful hold a particular value for me, both as tools and as subjects. After shooting these, I ran them through a two-pass process: edit, print to paper, scan, then edit again before arriving at the final image.
